Last Injection…

January 4th, 2008

Well, they ended up giving me my last stem cell injection Wednesday evening around 6:30 pm. According to the schedule I was supposed to get it Thursday but I’m glad to be done with it. After the injection I spent my “time” flat in Chris’ room visiting. I have had my acupuncture treatments the last two days. Once again I was able to feel all the needles!!! Just can’t wait to see what happens in the next few months…

Today, Thursday, I have pretty much just spent the day in my room. Can’t wait to get home! My plane is scheduled to leave around 1155 AM Friday morning from Shenyang (9:55 PM Thursday night for you all). Weather is looking good.

Well, guess that is all for now. It has been so good to hear from each one of you.  Hope everything is well with you all. See you’ll soon!!! Nut

Hey Nut – so glad you are finally coming home!!! Just in time for the weather to warm up. Has been bitterly cold the past two days. This morning woke up to the power being out in our area (off Big Sandy Highway) about 4:30 this morning – believe me – at 9 degrees outside – the house cooled off fast. BPU finally got it back on, but it went back out about every 10 minutes for almost 2 hours – it was really crazy around here and extremely difficult to get ready to go to work. Was ready to just pack my little bag and take it to work with me to finish getting ready, but heaven forbid that anyone would see before the make-up and hair was done. Guess I could have worn my barn clothes (coveralls, gloves, boots, and big hat) and no one would have recognized me. We also had “7″ babv goats the past two nights. Figures, they wait until the coldest nights of the year to have them and Jerry and I are outside freezing our tails off trying to get the little ones warm enough to wag their taiis. Saved all but two of them, I really do hate that!!! If I wasn’t working full time, I could have brought them in and bottle fed them myself every few hours (I know people make fun of me, but the hole in the back of the pampers for their little tails really does work when they have to come in the house and have I have saved many babies that way the past few years when I wasn’t working) Not only that but our well decided to act up yesterday, so water in the house was at a premium too. Don’t think I would like that cold weather in China.

Anyway, we are extremely excited for you that you will be coming home soon. No one has been the same without you, but we all want the best for you. Have a safe and restful trip home. See you soon!
