Saturday – Just Another Day in Nan Shan China

Well you wouldn’t know it was the weekend here, most people only seem to have one day off a week and I think this may vary from week to week. Today Camilla, one of the Beike staff here took me to a hairdressers for a hairwash and massage. I was there for one hour, the massage was great and it cost 10RMB which is about $1.80 Australian dollars. Plus I had 2 chinese men who work there escort me back to the hospital. I tried to make them have some cash but they wouldn’t take any.
I’ve had two very tiring physical therapy sessions today. Van a Canadian thinks I’ll be jogging next week, I wish. I got to speak to my beautiful boys today. Skype decided to work today. They are great but now that I’ve heard their voices I just want to go home.
The physical therapy sessions are wearing me out, I’m really homesick and just for a change I can’t sleep but I guess I better keep working to make this opportunity work. My goal is to go skiing in the Australian winter which I know the boys are just itching to get to. Yesterday’s photograph didn’t turn out so well, I will try again.

Carmel called and told me about your blog and that we could send you a message…
First of all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year of course, it sounds like 2007 is going to be a really big year for you guys. We send our best wishes and are thinking of you.
Aside from the treatment, it sounds like you are having a great time…. massages, going out to bars and restaurants, seaworld… your social life is sounding better than mine!
Well, once again, we send our love and will keep in tune for your progress reports.

Hi Rach and Garry,
How are you both? We are following your progress and are happy to see that you’ve been able to speak to the boys yesterday.
Not sure if these postings are getting through, but we will keep sending them, just in case.
We are all well and are enjoying our holiday at the beach. We are heading back to Griffith approx 16th Jan & will try to phone you then.
