First Chance to Blog from Shenyang

Well everyone, – Here we are! Sorry its been so long, I’ll go into the details later. We had a very emotional farewell from Adelaide, with Mum, Carolyn, David, Connor, Isabelle, Emma & Ryan. Thank you all. Good flight to Hong Kong, stayed o/night in the Novotel (very swish, very expensive!) Next day on to Shenyang. Still feeling very nervous. Good flight again. Met at airport by Lucy from Beike. Very nice young lady. Took us to the hospsital and to our home for the next month. Well, I’m glad we’ve travelled a bit! It is like a NHS hospital from the 50′s. But, we do have a private room, a private bathroom and a view of the canal! All the staff are very nice and helpful and we now have a

Hello, glad to see you arrived safely and enjoyed your stay at the Novotel. I had some trouble logging onto your blog site but only due to my own stupidity (was entering Shelagh with a little “s”!) Anyway, I’m on now and can keep in touch with how you are going. Enjoy your massages until the doctors come back to work. I wish our Australia Day lasted a week! Love you both x

Hi both,
I hope this gets through to you. The news is great and we pray that the improvement continues from now on. W e have missed you each Wednesday and we always talk about you.
I am printing out each blog I manage to get and take them with me. Pat is always the last person to see it and she takes it home for Christine to read.
As you probably know, Mavis and Frank are away. Thereby creating a problen because we don’t know who to ask for permission to go to the pokies. Dianna eventually gave us the go-ahead. We couldn’t go yesterday becaue I had to see the eye specialist.
