Stem Cells in China!

Well, it’s finally happened! Boy, what a day yesterday. Again didn’t go to acupuncture, but did go to massage, where they said we were late! So a discussion ensued – & it turned out that all the times for everyone had been changed baecause the holiday was over and staff were all back at work, but no one had thought to inform the patients! That was sorted and we returned to the room to prepare our first lunch with microwave and hot-plate. Mixed results. We had curried prawns and rice. Not bad but certainly not up to Ruby Raja standard. After lunch went to physio and then on return, the

Just checking that my first comment has been posted, but alas it seems that this is not the case, I wonder how long it takes for the comment to be “moderated” then posted, nearly 24 hours now, but hopefully it will soon be up there. Anyway I hope that your day was a pleasant one, it was hot here today 32+ but fortunatly not too humid, family is doing well and send all their love and best wishes for you.
    Cheers
    Steve.

    Hi Mum (& Dad),

Thanks for the update and the news about the first stem cell injections. Sounds painful, but if the outcome is positive then it’s worth the grief.

Weather’s crap here – raining again. There’s a chill coming up from the South Island – very nippy.

All are good here. Willow’s back at school and loving it. She wrote her teacher (Mrs Jessup) a note telling her how much she missed here, and how good a teacher she is. Mrs Jessup loved it. Willow also found one of Angie’s old shavers in the bin today, and thought she’d give it a go to “shave her legs like mummy does”. Ouch. I got home to a wailing child with a severe shaving rash and a couple of cuts…..nothing a good dose of Heal Aid and some cuddles can’t fix though, and she’s fine now.

Maddie and Frankie are going great. Both competing all the time now, for anything, like food, the TV remote, toys, food, attention from mum and dad, shoes, food, music, food (did I mention food…….) etc etc. They’ve also moved into a very loving phase, where they keep toddling up and giving mummy and daddy kisses – they compete at that too.

Angie and I are fine. Work’s fine – will send you a ‘normal’ email letting you know all that sort of stuff.

Glad that you’ve made friends quickly and easily. It must be good to be able to have conversations (in English) with others who can relate to the situation and that you can share experiences with.

Thanks to Steve & Lina, Emma, Frank & Mavis, Suzanne, Mike & Pam, etc for their blogs. Technology’s great huh? People from all around the world, all coming together, to deservedly focus on you.

Look forward to your next blog and hearing how the treatment is coming along. Till then, hope you both take care and all of us here miss you both. By the way, try to get Dad to do one of those sizzling steak chinese meals in the microwave – I’ll be impressed if he can…..

    Till next time,
    RAWFM xxxxx

Its great to hear that the treatment is underway; shame it has to be so painful.

I guess anything to do with hospitals is. I have been told that I will have an epidural when they finally get to replace my knee, so I will have an idea of what mother’s to be have to experience, when they chose this form of pain relief.

It’s great to see all the names of family and friends who we met when in OZ. G’day to you all.

Shelah, we send our love and prayers for success with your treatment, and to you Mike, the shrength and humour to herp her through it all. love from Terry and Mo.
