Dad,
It was great to get Julie Skidelsky’s message this morning that you arrived safe and sound with all luggage etc. and all is well so far! It is nice that you are impressed so far. Love you….keep us updated~

On another note…..your granddaughter, Jamie, was a “star” pitcher today in her softball game! She pitched the first two innings and in these innings she struck batters out, caught a fly ball and assisted on great plays!

Its great to hear that you finally got a chance to go out. We hope that you have better luck next week at the Hyatt. We were shocked to hear that no one spoke English at the hotel. We spent a very tough weekend getting Shannon and Luis packed up for there cross country trip next week. The highlight of the weekend was Saturday watching the sun set at Siesta Key on the beach with Gina and PJ, Braun and the kids. It is always a pleasure and loads of fun to see your outstanding kids. You both should be very proud of what wonderful adults they have become. Stay focused and positive and great things will happen. We look forward everyday to your blog. Thoughts and prayers Donna and Jim OConnell
