THINGS ARE GETTING INTERESTING….TODAY HAD A LUNG TEST AND A CHEST X-RAY AND A PHYSICAL EVALUATION. IT LOOKS AS THOUGH ONCE THIS TREATMENT IS OVER, SMOKING MAY BECOME A THING OF THE PAST FOR ME…I BELIEVE THAT I WILL GIVE IT MY BEST SHOT……..STEM CELL TREATMENTS WILL START ON WEDNESDAY….THE 1ST TREATMENT WILL BE A LUMBAR TREATMENT, WHICH IS A SPINAL……JUST GOT MY TREATMENT SCHEDULE FOR THIS WEEK……SO HERE IT GOES:
TUESDAY———–JULY 15–8:50 ELECTRIC WAVE THERAPY– 10:50 ACUPUNCTURE –2:20 PHYSICAL THERAPY
WEDNESDAY ——-JULY 16–8:50 ELECTRIC WAVE THERAPY– 10:50 ACUPUNCTURE –2:20 LUMBAR PUNCTURE STEM CELL
THURSDAY———JULY 17–8:50 ELECTRIC WAVE THERAPY– 10:50 ACUPUNCTURE –2:20 PHYSICAL THERAPY
FRIDAY———— JULY 18–8:50 FREE————————— 10:50 FREE————–2:20 FREE
SATURDAY——– JULY 19–8:50 ELECTRIC WAVE THERAPY– 10:50 ACUPUNCTURE– 2:20 PHYSICAL THERAPY
SO FOLKS I WILL BLOG YOU DAILY, IF ABLE, WITH MY RESULTS. STAY TUNED AND AS THEY SAY IN ROME, LET THE GAMES BEGIN…….ALSO, MET A NEW INTERPRETER TODAY. HIS NAME IS ALF, HE IS FROM MILWAUKEE AND LOVES GARDETTO…….HE CAME TO CHINA AFTER COLLEGE TO TEACH ENGLISH AND STAYED HERE FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS.

Hi! Wow! That is quite the schedule you have this week! Thanks for the update….love to hear about it! Are you getting good nights sleep? ~with the treatments being fairly early, I am assuming you are needing to hit the hay at a fairly decent time. We are always thinking and praying for you and Mar. Very glad to hear that smoking may be a thing of your past. Keep us informed of how the treatments are making you feel. Love you both! Happy to read that you made the trip okay! We are so excited to follow your progress. Having previously been in that very hospital, we know you are in the good hands of a very caring and knowledgeable hospital staff. Marilyn, if you have any questions or worries please skype us to talk. Just remember that you and Shelly are on a wonderful journey of hope! Our thoughts and prayers will continually be with you!

Sounds like you will be pretty busy. With you and Marilyn tackling this together, I’m sure you will do wonderful. Everything is staying up to date here. So don’t worry. Just hang in there. I am missing your phone calls. Take care.

Shelly, Its seems like you need a personal assistant just to keep your calendar. The therapy certainly deviates from our Western medicine.
I’ll bet Marilyn and your kids are thrilled to hear about you giving up cigs. If you can travel half way around the world to do this, quitting will be child’s play.
Marilyn, Are you accompanying Shelly to all of these appointments? Tell us about yoru accomodations. I don’t think I’ll ever visit China and I’m curious.

Shell, the progress will come. You are so lucky to have your wife there with you, she is a great women. The Cubs have beaten the Brewers the last 2 nights and are ahead tonight. They are back in first place. I hope that your back is strong because of all the hours in that position. I hope that you and Marilyn are coping with the air pollution in China because I just an article in USA Today that it is horrendous. Love and prayers Jim-Donna OConnell
