Thursday 19th June – Netta
June 19th, 2008
Hi all – this is the second time I’ve done this today – for some reason my earlier attempt got lost in Cyber space.
Terry was feeling great this morning and did 4 laps of the corridor – sadly I didn’t know about it until too late and so didn’t get it on film. He’s gone a bit tired and wobbly now (just not his usual self) but he has been pushing himself at the gym and the heat and humidity just saps you. He’s just had Rabbit stew for dinner and is quite fat and happy in the other room and probably not far from his bed haha.
Glad you’re feeling better Nathan and there’ll be no lasting effects – hope you realise how lucky you’ve been and have learned your lesson not to do anything so dangerous in the future.
Congratulations to Laura for doing well in her exams and becoming a prefect.
Well done Jackieann – good scores too!! They need some proper driving tests in China, never seen so many near misses…..
Not heard from Georgia since the big bug – hope we’ve not put you off…
The bull frogs were at it again last night – I’m going to kill the lot of them if they’re there tonight. They were croaking into the early hours and when they stopped at approx. 3am they forgot to tell one of their mates who decided he was going to continue alone… I almost blew a gasket!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0auCDOERZyE
Glad the wedding went well Sinead – any chance of any piccies???? Anyway, until tomorrow xxx

Terry I can sympathise, work outs are hard enough without not being able to understand the instructer, you deserve a medal!
I must admit you must have been injected with some very romantic stem cells! Any chance of sending me a few to sneak into Rick’s food??? He kill me for saying that, I should know he loves me because he keeps coming home! No really its lovely to see you and Lynda so happy and not afraid to show it.
Jeanette – if things start to get too heated you’ll have to put something it Terrys tea (ha-ha)
Take care and keep the updates coming.
Lots of love

Good Afternoon All,
Hope you are feeling a bit better now Dad, sounds like you are working very hard but I’m sure you agree that it’s worth it.
Jeanette you will have to get Dad to sing you to sleep before the bull frogs start tonight, its either that or you and Mum will have to have a night on the pop then you can sing along with the frogs.
You are all starting on your home run now, so keep up the good work you have all done an excellent job.
Rachel starts football training again tonight she has an all day tournament on Saturday then on Tuesday next week she starts trials with Manchester Academy who are a feeder club for England Ladies so watch this space I will keep you informed.
Take care lots of love to you all

Dear me, Terry – I think Charlie will have to have some stem cells, or acupuncture, if it makes him as romantic as you – or was it watching Gone With the Wind that made you behave like Rhett Butler?? I think Linda needs some, too! I can just see her tossing her head and saying “Fiddlededee, Mr Stafford – I will not wear a Chinese hat, no matter how hard you beg, nor will I eat dried frogs.” obviously Jeanette de Mille would have to be the director/producer/cameraman/sound recordist/stuntwoman. Ok, too much imagination.
And what about missing out on Chinese TV, eh? Obviously a new career is opening up for you.
Anyway, Charlie has always thought Terry is a bit New Age because he not only likes eating out – ok eating full stop – but because he actually likes to go shopping with Linda. Also, I think he’s a bit pissed off now that Terry’s into dancing – he’s always been first in the queue to dance with Linda in the past.
I’m currently in negotiation with Lloyd-Webber for you to take the lead in Aladdin over Christmas – I’ve told him you can supply your own costume, you just need to get a magic lamp. Who would you like to play Widow Twanky?
It looked as though the Chinese lady was trying to get you to do some tai chi exercises – just something else to put on your list of things to do when you return home. You won’t have time to sitting watching the birds, you’ll be out there with them and doing your exercises.
News from Longsight is that Charlie is jetting off to Spain today with Sean – really, I keep expecting them to announce their engagement any day now – so I hope he will remember to eat, and to take his pills on this trip. Maybe it will make him a bit less depressed. Also we may be able to have a yard sale while he is away – do you think there is any demand for empty gas bottles, old tyres, etc, etc? No, thought not.
So it won’t be long before you return home. It will be lovely for you to be able to sleep in your own bed and eat something meaty! I know you will miss Jeanette greatly, but I think you should continue your blog so that your audience can keep in touch with you. You don’t always have to do the moon-walk or perform for us, you know – it’s wonderful just being able to communicate with you and Linda like this, it’s better than a phone call.
Belated birthday greetings to Joanne, well done Jackieann and thank goodness Nathan is recovering so well. Don’t suppose it will stop him climbing though!
Look after yourselves and keep on laughing.
Love from

Hello All,
Can’t you catch some bullfrogs & dry them in the sun, ( that I note has now returned) & then sell them, (at a good price), to the lady who uses them for her concoctions.
Good to see that you all remain in good spirits, keep it up.
Love Janis

Thank you Penny for your birthday wishes, I always like reading your messages they make me laugh out loud, you paint a good picture with your words just imagine Dad at The Opera House playing Widow Twanky with his adoring public in the audience shouting “ Run Terry Run she’s gonna get you†(remember Jeanette).

Oh no Joanne – I think Billy Waddick should play Widow Twanky – obviously your dad should be playing Aladdin. He’ll just have to practise slapping his thigh and trotting around in a short satin coat. No change there then, judging by his wardrobe in the videos…

Hi All
The comments are as good as the video today, | think Widow Twankey is the better part for Terry- he obviously loves to dress up.
On the video, was the man roasting the frogs?
Terry, you old romantic, what have these stem-cell injections done to you, or it it listening to the frogs as the are up to no good.? I think Lynda is in shock as you have become so romantic, it’s definitely time you came home to your own room.
You looked tired today maybe you are overdoing it, the old saying is “walk before you can run”.
Some funnies for you today, I will give you a few each day, as ther is 24 of them. I hope they make you make you smile as much as you all make us smile.
** These are genuine clips from British Council flat tenants complaining to the Council about problems with their flats !!
1) My bush is really overgrown round the front and my back passage has fungus growing in it.
2) He’s got this huge tool that vibrates the whole house and I just can’t take it anymore.
3) It’s the dogs mess that I find hard to swallow.
4) I want some repairs done to my cooker as it has backfired and burnt my knob off.
5) I wish to complain that my father hurt his ankle very badly when he put his foot in the hole in his back passage.
6) And their 18 year old son is continually banging his balls against my fence.

Hi All
Sorry I haven’t left a comment for a while but I keep checking the blog everyday for an update on Terry.
Gran’s at my house now so I have just been reading her the latest updates.
Gran said to tell you Lee has finally been to move the rubbish from the shed after getting a telling off – ha ha ha
Love to you all. See you next week xxxx

Oh Anita, how harsh you are. Poor Terry, being demoted from romantic lead to pantomime dame!
As to number (5) above, I can remember Terry losing his ball across the promenade at Rhyl but that’s another story!

12. Lynda Robinson | June 20th, 2008 at 5:31 am
Hi all
I am puzzled. I put a message on about two hours ago and I don’t know where it went! Well, for the second time, here’s an update. Ollie sat his grade one drum exam last week and found out today that he got a merit so is delighted. Georgia isn’t that impressed as her flute exam is on Tuesday so she needs to pull her finger out if she wants to match that! I sat my piano exam this week too. Terry please sing don’t jump off the roof dad to shut her up. Lynda can join in as she does it so well. Maybe we can all learn to play it for when you get back, we could be like the Partridge family!
Gary sends his love. He is asleep just now as he has been at work all day and also has to do a nightshift at the airport. Georgia has a sneaky little plan to climb into his place in the bed. She thinks I don’t know what she’s up to.
Keep up the good work Jeanette I love watching the videos. Especially the frog song. It made me laugh because we started singing it when we saw the video of the bullfrogs.
This is the Robinson’s sending love to you all. xxxxxxx
