Back in the UK
June 28th, 2008
Hello all
We landed back in the uk on Thursday morning and have stayed at Gary & Lynda’s for a couple of days. I am suffering a little from jet lag and have been up since 5am this morning making crumpets (which I couldnt do before ha ha). I am feeling much the same as when I was in China, walking and talking loads better than before the treatment started. We will try and leave message updates weekly (whenever we are in manchester) so please continue to watch this space and leave your comments.
Love to all
Terry & Lynda

Hi – Well it makes a change viewing the site from this side – Nice one Gary…. feel a bit used and abused and unloved now!!!! How rude! haha.
Terry looks great and it will be interesting to see how he is when he gets home – Glad to hear your flight was good and you were able to sleep which makes a huge difference.
Will ring you soon once you’re home.
Lots of love,
Jeanette xx

Its great to hear thatt you all arrived home safely, even if it was eventualy! I’m not a bit surprised at the hilarious story you have of your journey home, I blame Jeanette, wherever you go with her it always turns out to be hilarious! But on a more serious note she certainly knows how to reflect humour in her writing! Maybe another career change!
You’ll all be emotionly drained after the experience, but I’m sure you’d all do it again in a heartbeat.
Besides the physical changes in Terry (which are amazing), its been nice to see his attitude changing over the last few weeks, which is even better as you can see that he’s really enjoying hmself and the limelight (surprisingly)!
Its been a privilage to watch the blog and I know it must have helped you all.
Take care of yourselves and I will keep checking for updates.
Lots of love

It will be lovely to be able to check in weekly to see how you are both coping now you’re back in the UK. Obviously Terry is lappingup all the attention. Very impressed, Linda, that you are continuing to film and blog – what a technocrat you are turning out to be. All down to Jeanette’s tuition, no doubt.
Speaking of whom, please don’t feel neglected and unloved because we shall certainly expect to read your comments, too – and probably a video or photograph or two – so keep us in the loop.
Perhaps you should write a book about your experiences in China? You must have plenty of material to use!
Great to hear from you all.
Charlie would love to come and see you at the Lakes or in Wales in a week or so when you have had time to get over the jet leg. I am sure you will be inundated with visitors so let us know when you have time to grant us an audience!
Love

Be carefull Terry, it starts off making crumpets for yourself and before you know it Lynda will have you cooking and cleaning all the time.

Is it time you had your own laptop, Linda? Hope you are both ok and that Terry’s improving all the time.
Hope to see you soon. Charlie has been trying to ring but your phone is off. But he’s got a touch of gout, too, at the moment so he’s a bit grumpy to make conversation. Thank goodness the pills work quickly.
See now, if you had an email address, I could forward some photos to you including a very fetching one of Charlie wearing a wizardy type hat………
