15th day in China
This morning started out as usual with more therapy…the electric overhaul wasn’t so bad..it was nice and breezy this morning and the power was not out as long as expected…we had an appointment today downtown at the Eye Institute…they did a VEP (visual evoked response) on Trinity…this test determines how much she can see and how fast her brain responds to light…she had one of these type of test before…the results were the same concluding that Trinity has no light perception, her optic nerves are not developed but her right eye is a little better than her left…even though we heard this many times before we always pray for better results….she will have this test repeated after her last treatment to see if there are any changes…I KNOW THERE WILL BE! Well the taxi ride was an adventure! Me and mom hold hands and pray the whole time….there are no stop signs and no rules or regulations…any time Trinity is sitting in the back seat saying, “Hold on to the car!” you know the driving is crazy.
Well the doctor did reiterate to us that the stem cells can take from 3 to 6 months to develop…everybody is different and we should see changes before we leave China or we may not see them until we get home…so it’s in God’s hands and we just pray for the best results…
