Hello everyone, I’m sorry to say Shakespeare is out of the house(hospital) Deb is back in Nashville. I will attempt to continue the blog but it will be much more brief . Palma if you read this you can deny you had me for English in high school. The weekend was long and less structured. My highlight was a lady named Angela whose significant other is a pt. from Rohde Island brought me pancakes and syrup. It was delicious! I have noticed increasing strength, more electrical activity in arms and legs . I also have less pain. I keep trying to remember a thought passed on to me – We must experience our weakness to experience God’s strength. Brittany is sending me sports trivia and Brandon keeps me up on the lack of rain and farming news.. Sure wish I could send some of this rain to Washington County. The days can’t go fast enough. I don’t know why I was given such little patience. I want the days to go by faster and the stem cells to work faster and to be back with the one’s I love. With God, the impossible becomes possible. I again apologize for not getting a timely update on Wayne the last few days. I made the long trip home safely. I’m so glad to see family and friends but already miss Wayne and our busy days. I don’t miss that midget cot, their laundry system or the food. However, it became a guessing game of what you actually received when you ordered food. In just two short weeks we made many friends and learned of a culture that frustrated us yet we envied in many ways. Thank you to everyone who have been responding to Wayne’s blog. The encouragement, prayers and support have been so uplifting to us both. I want to thank the nurses, P.T., and family members of the pts. on the 14th floor who promised to check in on Wayne. You don’t know how reassuring that is. Jarrett, please give him your best care and attentiveness despite his dry humor. He is my best friend. I love you dear, please hurry home. Connor and Carlee have been throwing kisses to “Chinatown.” Keep up the hard work Wayne. God Willing Love, Deb
